This class will be using the Glencoe Mathematics with Business Applications book. We will be covering many topics that will be used in the real world such as income, savings, checking, taxes, etc. We will have a project 2nd semester on renting an apartment, having a car, and getting a job.
Below is a link to the assignment list and calendar. If you are absent from class, please refer to this to see what you missed and try to stay caught up.
Remember that anyone with missing assignments on the last day of the quarter will not get credit for the class.
During Semester 2, we will start a weekly checkbook project. Every Wednesday, we will get a "paycheck" for the hours you are in class, you will figure out you gross pay and net pay. You will make a deposit slip where some goes into checking and savings. You will have to keep a checking and savings register. You will have to find a job, a car, and an apartment in the course of the project.
